Hyderabad: The Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will hold a Collectors Conference on August 31 at Pragathi Bhavan to discuss the measures needed for rectification and cleansing of land records programme.

The meeting assumes importance as the Chief Minister wanted Farmers Coordination Committees to be formed from September 1 and rectification and cleansing of records from September 15.

The Chief Minister will make an announcement on the final guidelines on the rectification and cleansing of land records, reforms to be brought in the registration process, changes to be brought in Pattadar Passbooks, Pahani and other matters at the conference.

According to Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), K Chandrashekar Rao had instructed that 1,000 Information Technology officers be appointed in the revenue offices to manage the online updating of records process like the core banking and to maintain the land records. The mutation should be done the very next day of the registration.

After the Collectors conference, the Chief Minister will deliver the inaugural address at the Agriculture officials’ conference to be held at Jayashankar Agriculture University on the same day. The meeting would discuss matters regarding the rectification of the land records, formation of Farmers Coordination Committees, Rythu Vedika and other issues.
