School girls file complaint against headmaster’s sexual advances
Girl students at Zilla Parishad High School in Nalgonda district lodged a complaint with the officials of the Education Department against the school headmaster\'s sexual advances on Wednesday.
Girl students at Zilla Parishad High School in Nalgonda district lodged a complaint with the officials of the Education Department against the school headmaster's sexual advances on Wednesday.
The girls studying in Class VIII and IX signed a memorandum and submitted to the District Education Officer (DEO). In the memorandum, they mentioned that the headmaster Krishnamurthy kept calling them into his office and was touching them inappropriately. They mentioned that if the girls who raised objection against this was threatened of a transfer certificate and sent out of the school.
The girls complained that such kind of events were taking place for several months now. An inquiry has been initiated against Krishnamurthy and the DEO assured to take action against him based on the report.
