BJP rolls out Vimochana yatra
Bharatiya Janata Party State unit president K Laxman on Friday said the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government is treading the same lines as the previous governments in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh so that the people forget the history of the State.

Laxman started his Telangana Vimochana Yatra, demanding that the government celebrate Telangana Liberation Day on September 17 officially. Laxman started his yatra after offering prayers at Sri Kanakadurga temple at Basheerbagh on Friday.Laxman recalled that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had said the Liberation Day was the matter of self-respect for the people of Telangana and would be celebrated officially once Telangana forms as a separate State.
BJP leaders including G Kishan Reddy, N Ramchander Rao, Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, NVSS Prabhakar, MLA, Nagam Janardhan Reddy, P Sekhar Rao, N Indrasena Reddy, Prof S V Seshagiri Rao, T Achari, Chinta Sambamurthy, G Manohar Reddy, Manthri Srinivasulu and Telangana Vimochana Committee Chairman N Srivardhan Reddy and others participated.
