Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) conducted the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Tech Mahindra Infocity Auditorium on Friday.

Hyderabad: Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC) conducted the Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Tech Mahindra Infocity Auditorium on Friday.

Speaking at the meeting, Joint CP Shanwaz Qasim said, “SCSC had been a trend setter by taking various initiatives in Cyberabad area including, project safe-stay, She-Shuttle for women employees, traffic volunteer initiative and tactical training. These initiatives were to facilitate the city’s IT industry.”

Barani K Aroll, SCSC Secretary said, “SCSC office bearers have been maintaining a very transparent way of working.” He further explained that the members participated in the various initiatives taken by SCSC during the last one year and presented the progress achieved on various fronts. He invited suggestions from the IT industry to help SCSC to take new initiatives.

Till date 75,466 'My Cab is Safe’ stickers have been issued to cabs and according to some estimate, close to 85 to 90 per cent of cabs were covered.

SCSC secretary Barani had given a detailed presentation about accounts and AGM had approved the audited accounts of SCSC for the financial year 2016-17 without any observations. Close to 60 companies attended the meeting. All she shuttle sponsors like DLF, Raheja Mind Space, Ascendas, Factset, Synchrony Financial Services, Verify Knowledge Solutions and Genpact were felicitated by office bearers of SCSC.
