Hyderabad: Khairatabad Ganesh Utsava Samithi has taken a decision to install 80 feet to 100 feet high Ganesh idol made of clay from next year.
Samithi president Sudarshan on Saturday said clay idol would be immersed in Hussain Sagar. Idol sculptor Rajender also agreed to mould clay idol of Lord Vinayaka.
Stating that environment would be polluted with the plaster of paris (PoP) idols, he said everyone has the responsibility to protect the Hussainsagar.
