Govt to hold essay-writing, short film competitions
District Rural Development officer invited applications to participate in the essay writing and short film competitions. Students including Anganwadi activists, Intellectuals, village secretaries, local people’s representatives, women organisation members, youth organisation members and all sections of people are eligible to apply.

Students including Anganwadi activists, Intellectuals, village secretaries, local people’s representatives, women organisation members, youth organisation members and all sections of people are eligible to apply.
The last date for application is September 8. The topic for essay writing is “What should I do to make clean India?” and it should not exceed 250 words. The topic of short film is “What is my role in making clean India?”. The duration of the film should be between 3-4 minutes.
Candidates can write the essay in Telugu, Hindi, English and any regional language. Candidates can log on to http://www.mygov.in to register themselves. The candidates can upload it in JPEG/PDF format. Candidates can upload short film in YouTube and share the link with http://www.mygov.in/home/do.
Essay hard copy should be submitted to the Panchayat Secretaries or MPDO or district rural development office concerned. Swachh Bharat Mission will present awards to the winners on October 2, on the occasion of Gandhi Birth Anniversary.
