Hyderabad: IT Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Sunday expressed unhappiness over no representation to Telangana state and the removal of Bandaru Dattatreya from the Union Cabinet in the reshuffle.

KTR in a series of tweets said, "Not that he has done anything for Telangana worthy of mentioning. Taking out even the lone representative from the Union govt is not a good sign." He tweeted without taking the name of Bandaru Dattatreya.
However, KTR has not replied to various tweets questioning whether Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has given representation to all the 31 districts in the state in his cabinet.

In another tweet, KTR hailed the inclusion of former bureaucrats in the Union Cabinet. "It's a good sign to enrol bureaucrats who are experienced & have a good track record. Only caveat is if only they can rise above party lines," he tweeted.

In his reply to a tweet wherein he was asked whether Suresh Prabhu's adieu to Rail Ministry would help TS getting the rail coach factory, KTR said: "Irrespective of individuals heading ministries, it's the bounden duty of the Union government to keep promises on Bayyaram steel plant, coach factory, etc."

Meanwhile, TPCC official spokesperson Konagala Mahesh said the BJP had betrayed Telangana. Telangana has been discriminated in the reshuffle. The BJP, he said, has insulted the people of Telangana by denying a berth in the Cabinet.
Stating that Telugu states had got adequate representation in the Cabinet during the UPA regime, Mahesh told newsmen that the BJP had proved once again that it is a ‘North India party’.
