Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu on Monday morning offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at Khairatabad in Hyderabad.
Venkaiah Naidu was welcomed by the Ganesha Utsava Mandali of Khairatabad and he offered assistance along with priests to perform the puja.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice President said that he shared the special devotion he has towards Khairatabad Ganesh adding that it is a huge satisfaction for him to offer prayers after becoming the Vice President of India.
Praying that hunger and corruption be curbed, he hoped the Telugu states would be happy in order to ensure the people also are happy.
