Balapur Ganesh Laddu auctioned at Rs 15.6 Lakhs

Balapur Ganesh Utsava Committee have made all the necessary arrangements for the Shobha Yatra.

Going by the tradition, the Laddu Auction began at Rs 1,116 witnessing participation from several residents. Finally, the laddu was auctioned off at Rs 15.6 Lakhs and the bid was claimed by Nagam Thirupathi Reddy.

The Balapur laddu auction has been in practice for years and the laddu is considered auspicious, as people believe the one who wins it will gain prosperity which is the reason many spend lakhs on the laddu.

A Utsav Committee member spoke to a news channel stating that the amount received by auction will be utilized for Balapur Devasthanam and other developmental purposes.
