Komatireddy brothers abruptly leave Congress training camp venue
The ongoing differences among the Congress senior leaders came to the fore during the day-long training camp for Telangana Congress workers held at Mallika Convention Hall in Shamshabad on Saturday.
Hyderabad: The ongoing differences among the Congress senior leaders came to the fore during the day-long training camp for Telangana Congress workers held at Mallika Convention Hall in Shamshabad on Saturday.
Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy and his brother and MLC Komatireddy Rajagopal attended the training camp only for a brief period. As soon as TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy began his speech, Komatireddy brothers left the venue abruptly along with their supporters. Meanwhile, Uttam Kumar Reddy's supporters were seen shouting slogans demanding ouster of Komatireddy brothers from the arty. However, their supporters raised counter slogans demanding 'Uttam Hatao, Congress Bachao'.
Both Uttam Kumar Reddy and AICC Secretary R.C. Khuntia were seen pacifying the agitated Congress workers.
