National Lok Adalat settles 11,662 cases in Telangana
As many as 11,662 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held across the Telangana State on Saturday.
Hyderabad: As many as 11,662 cases were settled in the National Lok Adalat held across the Telangana State on Saturday.
The settled cases included 6613 Pre-litigation cases and 5,049 Court pending Cases of all categories and an amount of Rs.19.31 Crores is awarded as compensation in the State of Telangana.
The bi-monthly National Lok Adalat was organised by the Telangana State Legal Services Authority in pursuance of the guidelines issued by the National Legal Services Authority.
The National Lok Adalat was held under the guidance and leadership of Justice Ramesh Ranganathan, the Acting Chief Justice of High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad and Patron-in-Chief of TSLSA.
TSLSA Executive Chairman Justice V. Rama Subramanian, High Court Committee Chairman Justice P.V. Sanjay Kumar and Authority member B.R. Madhusudhan Rao have coordinated with all the District Legal Services Authorities in the State and have organized the bi-monthly National Lok Adalat.
