Two Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad died in Holy city of Makkah on Saturday. Both had left Hyderabad for pilgrimage on 17th August.

Hyderabad: Two Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad died in Holy city of Makkah on Saturday. Both had left Hyderabad for pilgrimage on 17th August.

According to Telangana State Haj Committee, one pilgrim, Yousuf Khan, 68, of Borabanda, died of natural death. He had gone on pilgrimage along with his wife Fathima Begum. Another Haji, Mohammed Jamaluddin, 73, of Tolichowki, died of heart attack at Al-Noor Hospital. He had gone on pilgrimage along with his wife Noorjahan Begum.

Burial will take place in Makkah after completion of necessary documentary formalities. Altogether five Hajis belonging to Telangana State died in Makkah.

With this, the number of deaths of Haj pilgrims from Hyderabad Embarkation Point increased to eight. They include six pilgrims from Telangana and one each from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka
