Police constable, two-month-old son killed in road mishap

In a tragic road accident, a police constable and his two-month-old son after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck near Malkapur, Hyderabad.

The police constable, identified as Shankarapuram Srinivas worked at Jagadgirigutta police station and was heading to his village in Bijapur with his wife and son in his friend's car.

However, one of the car's tyre got punctured and the vehicle rammed into an Army truck leaving the constable and his son dead on the spot while his wife sustained serious injuries.

She was shifted her to Osmania General Hospital for treatment. A case was registered by the police.
