Bihar Health Minister evinces interest in KCR Kits

Hyderabad: Bihar Minister for Health Mangal Pandey on Sunday met officials of Telangana Health Department and reviewed various initiatives being taken up by the Health Department here.

He showed keen interest in the KCR kits and said he would take a sample kit with him so that the Bihar government could examine the possibility of replicating the scheme there. Officials of the health Department gave a power point presentation on various schemes that are being implemented by the State government.

Pandey sought to know the manner in which the TS government was trying to improve the health services in government hospitals, distribution of medicines and improving paramedical services. He also inspected the 102 and 108
ambulances.

The Minister said all States were implementing several schemes for the health of common man and he had come here to study the schemes being implemented and their impact on the common man. He said soon he would depute a team of officers to Telangana to study the health initiatives here.
