Family of six commit suicide in Suryapet

In a suicide pact, six members of a family ended their lives by consuming pesticide on Sunday night.

The family including two women, two children and two men committed suicide at Kasturi Bazar in Suryapet. Their bodies were found in the early hours of Monday by a visitor to the house and bottles of pesticide were discovered nearby.

The deceased were identified as Kasturi Janardhan, Chandrakala, Prabhatam, Ashok, Siri and Rutvika. Sources reveal that the family had been reeling under severe financial problems which might be the reason for them to take the extreme step.
