Speaking at Indiramma Rytu Bata programme here on Wednesday, he observed that the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) introduced many schemes only to hoodwink the people of all sections of the society.

State government promised three acres of land to three lakh landless Dalits, three and half years ago, but could not distribute the land among 3,000 landless Dalits also, he pointed out.

The TRS government distributed sub-standard saris, each of which could not cost more than Rs 50, to women as Bathukamma gift. The credit for distributing sub-standard saris should be given to the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his party.

The State government is building irrigation projects with an eye on kickbacks, he alleged. Contrary to TRS promising distribution of lands to landless poor, the Congress during the regime of Indira Gandhi as Prime Minister distributed lands among landless poor, Congress In-charge for Telangana Kuntia said.

He exuded confidence of Congress returning to power in the State in 2019. The farmers, the unemployed and the employed are desirous to see Congress return to power, he analysed.
