While combing in the forest area, the police came face to face with 25 members of New Democracy, said Superintendent of Police Ambar Kishor Jha addressing the media.

“The New Democracy members didn’t pay heed to the police warning to surrender instead opened firing on the police forcing the police to retaliate. The exchange of fire took place for 15 minutes. No one was injured during the fire exchange. The police apprehended Madivi Bhima, while others managed to escape. The police seized two 8mm rifles besides 54 rounds of 8mm bullets, one revolver, one air-gun, 11 kits and six olive green dresses,” he added.
