Electoral Rolls' revision to be completed by month end
GHMC Commissioner and Hyderabad District Election Officer Dr. Janardhan Reddy has directed the officials to complete the revision of electoral rolls by this month end.

The Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana has conducted a meeting on September 23 and reviewed the progress made under Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls (IRER) 2017 and issued instructions to all the Electoral Registration Officers and District Election Officers to complete the door to enumeration before the end of this month. He has also informed that action will be taken under the provision of Representation of Peoples Act, 1950 against the persons responsible (ie. EROs/ AEROS/ BLOS/Agencies involved or persons obstructing the process of enumeration) which may lead to imprisonment from three months to three years.
Therefore, Janardhan Reddy directed all the Booth Level Offices, Data Entry Operators, Agencies, Asst. Electoral Registration Officers and Electoral Registration Officers to attend the enumeration work including Public Holidays and complete the process of Door to Door enumeration under IRER before 30th September.
