Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has allocated Rs Rs. 1 lakh crore for the development of the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad under Mission Hyderabad.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has allocated Rs Rs. 1 lakh crore for the development of the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad under Mission Hyderabad.

With Mission Bhagiratha and Mission Kakatiya, launched by KCR already being implemented successfully, it is now upto Mission Hyderabad.

The Mission includes providing tap connections to supply drinking water to every household and the Chief Minister has instructed the MLAs to prepare a roadmap in this regard.

Also, the metro rail is gearing up for launch in November this year and the plan to extend its second phase is ready. Apart from this, the construction of flyovers, strategic road developments, us bays parking, public toilets, skyways, roads to connect adjoining cities, etc are also in the pipeline.

In addition, the government is making efforts to promote tourism with the beautification of Husain Sagar, construction of new buildings, conservation of historical places, construction of theme parks, cultural centers, mini community halls are some of the plans being encouraged.
