Heavy rains lash several parts of Hyderabad

Several parts of Hyderabad witnessed heavy rainfall today with low-lying areas getting inundated with water.

Areas such as Secunderabad, Dilsukhnagar, Uppal, RTC X Roads, Begumpet and Bowenpally are receiving incessant rains.

Traffic has come to a standstill due to the waterlogged areas in the city.

Thunder and heavy winds are also being witnessed in the city as the sky is covered with dark clouds.

According to the Meteorological department, the rains are likely to continue for the next 24 hours and public staying in low-lying areas have been warned to stay alert.
