KCR announces 5 lakh ex gratia

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of one Srujana, wife of Nagesh of Nutankal village of Suryapet District, who died after she was accidentally hit by an iron gate when she was returning home after taking part in Maha Bathukamma celebrations in Hyderabad on Tuesday. She was hit by the gate when she peeped out of the window of the bus she was traveling
Woman dies returning from Maha Bathukamma
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced an ex gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of one Srujana, wife of Nagesh of Nutankal village of Suryapet District, who died after she was accidentally hit by an iron gate when she was returning home after taking part in Maha Bathukamma celebrations in Hyderabad on Tuesday. She was hit by the gate when she peeped out of the window of the bus she was traveling in.
Upon knowing about the incident, the Chief Minister expressed his grief and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family. Dr KV Ramanachary, IAS (R), Advisor to Govt has expressed his grief over the unfortunate death of the woman.
