Prize money distributed to Swachh Dooths
GHMC officials have distributed prize money to the winning Swachh Dooths in the city on Tuesday. Haseena Begum from Santosh Nagar Circle and N Satayanarayana from Nallakunta were presented the prize money of Rs 1 lakh each by the GHMC Commissioner B Janaradhan Reddy.
Hyderabad: GHMC officials have distributed prize money to the winning Swachh Dooths in the city on Tuesday. Haseena Begum from Santosh Nagar Circle and N Satayanarayana from Nallakunta were presented the prize money of Rs 1 lakh each by the GHMC Commissioner B Janaradhan Reddy.
The winners were credited with workingin keeping their localities clean and ensured that the waste was segregated at the starting point. They were awarded for educatingthe people in their respective localities.
The appreciation award was sponsored by the ITC Company for the last one year. The Commissioner said that the ITC Company management since 2016 is coordinating with the GHMC and taking up various initiatives for the awareness programme with regard to segregation of waste and it was deriving very good results.
Vaddiraj Kulkarni, Chief Operating Officer for ITC, on the occasion described the GHMC creating App as a great idea. The ITC was proud to associate itself with the social cause.
