BJP demands high-level probe against TRS MLA for land grabbing
Telangana BJP on Thursday demanded a high level probe into the allegations of land grabbing against TRS party\'s Jangaon MLA Yadigiri Reddy.
Hyderabad : Telangana BJP on Thursday demanded a high level probe into the allegations of land grabbing against TRS party's Jangaon MLA Yadigiri Reddy.
Speaking to media persons here, BJP General Secretary Chinta Samba Murthy said that District Collector Devasena herself has levelled the allegation that the MLA has encroached upon lake land. He said that the TRS MLA, who is a realtor, has been facing several allegations of land grabbing. However, he said that the State Government never ordered investigations into those charges.
The BJP leader reminded that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had promised to take stern against those involved in irregularities. Therefore, he said that the Chief Minister should keep his word by ordering a probe against his party MLA.
