Hyderabad: Rich tributes were paid to Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his birth anniversary on Monday.
Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and other leaders visited Bapu Ghat at Langar Houz and paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. An all religious prayer was also organised on the occasion and a photo exhibition on the life of Mahatma Gandhi was also organised.
Legislative Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Assembly Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Redddy, Deputy CM Mahmood Ali, Ministers Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Mahender Reddy and Talasani Srinivas Yadav, legislators M.S. Prabhkar, P. Sudhakar Reddy, T. Krishna Reddy, M. Gopinath, Kale Yadaiah, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Deputy Mayor Baba Fasiuddin, Chief Secretary S.P.
