Uttam meets Rahul to discuss organisational polls
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy met Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on Tuesday.
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Capt. N. Uttam Kumar Reddy met Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi at New Delhi on Tuesday.
Uttam Kumar Reddy, along with AICC Incharge Secretary R.C. Khuntia, AICC Secretary Satish and other leaders, discussed the latest political situation in Telangana State. He briefed Rahul Gandhi about the steps taken to facilitate smooth conduct of ongoing organisational elections. It was decided to convene a meeting of senior leaders at Gandhi Bhavan on October 8 to discuss the issue.
The TPCC Chief, who was in Delhi for the last two days, returned to Hyderabad on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, reliable sources claimed that Rahul Gandhi was all set to be elected as the next President of Congress party.
