Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to give water for the second crop through Singur for 2 lakh acres of land in old Nizamabad and Medak districts.

Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao and Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy have requested the Chief Minister for the release of water from Singur to Nizam Sagar to give water to 2 lakh acres for the second crop as there is 29 TMC maximum level water in Singur.
