Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party has strongly condemned noted writer Kancha Illaiah's remarks on BJP National President Amit Shah.

"We consider Illaiah has turned senile and deranged lately and is making remarks which are naturally pointless and incongruent. BJP seriously condemns and warns Illaiah to mind his language and his continued tirade of abuse on Arya Vysyas. BJP rejects his baseless allegations against BJP National President Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi," Telangana BJP Spokesperson Krishna Saagar Rao said in a media statement today.

Describing Illaiah as "insane and mentally unstable individual", he said only such a person could indulge in unprovoked abuse of an entire community. "With his relentless attack on Arya Vysyas, Illaiah has exposed his hidden agenda to trigger inter caste rivalry and divide the Hindu community. His deviant statements alleging that Arya Vysyas are puppets of Amit Shah are baseless and downright silly. His statements don’t deserve any better response," he said.

The BJP leader demanded that Illaiah should come clean on whom he is working for. "Who are his masters controlling his illegitimate actions against Hindu community? Who is he a puppet of? Who’s setting his divisive agenda?" he asked.

"Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao should get out of his stoic silence and react to insane individual’s hateful tirade against Hindu community in the State of Telangana," he demanded.
