TRS MLC booked for abusing NRI landlady
The Nampally Police on Monday registered a criminal case against TRS MLC Farooq Hussain for using filthy language and threatening the landlady. The video of entire incident, which was recorded by complainant\'s brother, went viral on social media.
Hyderabad: The Nampally Police on Monday registered a criminal case against TRS MLC Farooq Hussain for using filthy language and threatening the landlady. The video of entire incident, which was recorded by complainant's brother, went viral on social media.
According to police, the complainant, Amatul Wasay, a US citizen, owns Flat No. 403 in Skill Splendour Apartments at Lakadikapul. She has given the flat to Farooq Hussain on rent basis about six years ago. For the last two years, she has been requesting Farooq Hussain to vacate the flat. But he did not respond to her request and also stopped paying rent for the last six months. She came from New York on Sunday and today morning, she visited the flat along with her brother Md. Mujtab Alvi to meet Farooq Hussain.
Some altercation took place between them and Farooq Hussain used filthy language and threatened them with his influence.
Farooq Hussain could not be reached for his reaction on the incident.
