Hyderabad: NTPC Director (Operation) K. K. Sharma inaugurated the 18th Regional Operational Performance Review-Southern Region at NTPC-Ramagundam on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sharma highlighted on changing environment and the challenges thereon besides asking Team NTPC to enhance their skills to cope-up with technological advancement and maintain the Super Critical and Ultra Super-Critical units to its fullest.

Younger generation of the company need to play an important role by adopting latest technology as well as maintaining the leadership position. He also stressed on minimizing detrimental factors that affecting production, optimum budget utilization and the cost-benefit analyses thereon besides maintaining highest level of safety at workplace.

During the review meeting, issues pertaining to power generation, progress, hurdles and the plans ahead of southern region’s thermal power plants were discussed in details. Earlier, ED-Ramagundam D. K. Dubey welcomed the guests.

K. R. C. Murty, RED (South) and other senior officials from Southern Region Headquarters, NTPC; S. K. Roy, ED (OS) and other senior officials from Corporate Centre, NTPC; Head of the Stations from NTPC-Simhadri, NTPC-Kudgi and NTECL Vallur; GMs and others senior officials from Ramagundam were present on the occasion.
