The bulletin stated that during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Monday, heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Ranga Reddy, Karimnagar and Nizamabad districts under the influence of the cyclonic circulation over north interior Karnataka and the adjoining south central Maharashtra and south Konkan now extends up to 3.6 km above the mean sea level (MSL).

Nawabpet in Ranga Reddy recorded 10 cm of rainfall. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) in Telangana were: Gangadhara (Karimnagar), Kotagiri (Nizamabad), Karimnagar, Sadasivanagar, Gandhari (both in Nizamabad) 7 each, Saroornagar (Ranga Reddy), Jukkal, Kamareddy, Bodhan (all in Nizamabad) 6 each, Hasanparthy, Dharmasagar (both in Warangal), Bheemadevarpalle (Karimnagar) 5 cm.

There was four cm of rain each in Narmetta (Warangal), Tadwai (Nizamabad), Rudrur, Yedapalle (both Nizamabad) and three cm each in Aswaraopet (Khammam), Zaffergadh (Warangal), Aswapuram (Khammam), Ranjal (Nizamabad), Narayankhed (Medak), Manuguru (Khammam), Gambhiraopet (Karimnagar). Two cm of rain each occurred in Shriramsagar, Varni (both Nizamabad), Julapalle (Karimnagar), Palakurthi (Warangal), Metpally, Thimmapur (both Karimnagar), Machareddy (Nizamabad), Tandur (Ranga Reddy), Dichpalle (Nizamabad), Hanamkonda (Warangal), Manthani, Huzurabad (both Karimnagar), Mominpet (Rangareddy), Mulakalapalle (Khammam) and Domakonda (Nizamabad).

The forecast said light to moderate rain/thundershowers are likely to occur at many/few places across Telangana from October 10 to 13. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
