Rainy spell to continue over Telangana for the next 3-4 days

Within a span of 24 hours, Hyderabad recorded 38 mm of rains while Nizamabad recorded heavy rains to the tune of 75 mm, Ramagundam 29 mm, and Medak witnessed 3 mm of rainfall.
The rainy spell has resulted in water logging and traffic chaos in some parts of the city.
According to the weather forecast, an east-west trough is extending towards coastal Andhra Pradesh and is likely to persist for another 24-48 hours. Following which, a cyclonic circulation is expected to develop over the coast.
Thereafter, it will move towards Telangana resulting in moderate showers across the state. This spell of rains is likely to continue over Telangana for the next 3-4 days.
