Narrow escape for Talasani as lorry hits his car
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav had a narrow escape when a lorry hit his car from behind at Keesra in Medchal district on Wednesday
Hyderabad : Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav had a narrow escape when a lorry hit his car from behind at Keesra in Medchal district on Wednesday morning. However, Medchal MLA Sudheer Reddy, who was accompanying the Minister, sustained minor injuries.
The Minister and MLA were headed to Medchal to lay foundation stones for District Integrated Complex. They halted at a roadside dhaba to fresh up before reaching the program venue in Medchal. A Madhya Pradesh lorry with a heavy load of cargo, which was also proceeding towards Medchal, hit the car from behind causing damage to it.
As Talasani was out of the car to have a face wash, he escaped unhurt. Sudheer Reddy, who was sitting in the car, received minor injuries due to the impact.
The lorry driver has been taken into custody and the lorry was seized. The Minister and MLA proceeded to the program.
