Talasani escapes lorry accident unhurt
Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav had a lucky escape on Wednesday after a lorry rammed his car from behind near Keesara in Medchal district. The car was parked on the roadside.

While the rear of the car was damaged, the Minister escaped the mishap unhurt. According to the police, the Minister was travelling along with Lok Sabha MP Ch Malla Reddy and MLA M Sudheer Reddy. Talasani along with other members was on his way to attend a public meeting at the Old Collectorate when the mishap occurred.
Later, speaking to media persons in his chambers in the Secretariat, the Minister said the truck hit their vehicle when they were returning from the foundation stone laying event. He said they were on their way to attend a public meeting at the Old Collectorate.
“We were caught unaware when the speeding lorry hit the vehicle. While everyone else is safe, Sudheer Reddy received minor injuries,” he added.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot and the lorry driver was taken into custody. The police seized the lorry.
