Information Technology Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Saturday inaugurated the regional centre of Telangana Academic Skill & Knowledge (TASK) at National Institute of Technology, Warangal.

Hyderabad : Information Technology Minister K. Tarakarama Rao on Saturday inaugurated the regional centre of Telangana Academic Skill & Knowledge (TASK) at National Institute of Technology, Warangal.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, MP P. Dayakar, TRS legislators, District Collector Amarapali, famous cricketer Krishnamma Chari Srikanth, Greater Warangal Mayor Narender and other dignitaries were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, KTR said students must possess the capability to accept every problem as a challenge and should acquire the required skills to solve it. He said any goal in life could be achieved through hard work and dedication. He informed that regional TASK centre, being established at a cost of Rs. 25 crore in Mudikonda, would impart training to students in various skills.

KTR said after Hyderabad, Warangal was on top in terms of IT growth and industrialisation. Therefore, he said that the State Government was taking measures to establish Hyderabad-Warangal Industrial Corridor. He assured that Warangal would be turned into commercial capital of Telangana. He said that Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, whose foundation stone would be laid by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao next week, would bring Warangal on global map. He said the proposed textile park would bring thousands of new jobs for the local youth.

The Deputy CM, in his speech, urged KTR to establish an incubation centre and IT Towers in Warangal.

Cricketer Srikanth praised KTR for establish TASK regional centre and described him as young and dynamic politician. Stating that Career Strokes company was established to impart corporate level training to youth, he said that the company has entered into an MoU with the TASK regional centre.

The logo of Kakatiya Mega Textile Park was also unveiled on the occasion.
