Now, Sadar festival becomes official
Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has said that all arrangements pertaining to the ``Sadar” festival (Buffalo carnival) to be held in city would be taken care by the State government.
Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has said that all arrangements pertaining to the ``Sadar” festival (Buffalo carnival) to be held in city would be taken care by the State government.
Holding a meeting with different departments on Friday at his chamber, the minister reviewed the arrangements of Sadar festival slated to be organised on October 21. He instructed the R&B officials to lay new roads near the expected venue of the festival in Narayanaguda and urged Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation to install LED lights in the area.
He instructed the Water Board and electricity departments to ensure proper arrangements were done for the event. He asked the police and traffic police departments to ensure all measures for streamlining the traffic and security arrangements. The Sadar event is expected to be attended by 4 lakh people at different parts of the city.
