19-year-old Rohingya refugee arrested on charges of procuring local citizenship illegally

A 19-year-old Rohingya refugee was arrested in Balapur by the police on charges of obtaining local citizenship illegally.

The police informed that the suspect, Mohammad Azamuddin alias Molla Azamuddin came to India with the help of one Riyazuddin Molla who procured the former a fake Aadhar card by introducing him as his son.

The police have produced both the suspects before the court following which they were remanded to judicial custody.
