Mentioning that the state police and the government are aware of 'Amaraveerula-Spoorthi-Yatra' being peaceful and constitutional for which they already got permission, Kodandaram condemned the house arrest and claimed it to be a supressment of the fundamental rights of the people in a democratic country.
He added that the police overlooked the TJAC members appeal which was submitted in writing and arrested many of them.
The TJAC Chairman condemned prioritization of caste even in police stations to initiate enquiry and called it unconstitutional.
