A student of Class IX died after accidentally falling down the stairs at her school on Monday.
A student of Class IX died after accidentally falling down the stairs at her school on Monday.
The mishap took place at Koutilya school at Karimabad of Warangal. The deceased, identified as Harshita was carrying an overloaded bag and the CCTV footage showed her climbing the stairs with a lot of difficulty.
While she was rushed to the Warangal MGM Hospital immediately, the doctors declared her dead. Harshita's parents blamed the management for negligence.
Activists of Students Federation of India (SFI), staged a protest in front of the school, demanding action against school authorities.
