No loss to party if Revanth leaves TDP: Arvind Goud

Hyderabad, Oct 18 : Telangana TDP senior leader Arvind Goud on Wednesday claimed that there would be no loss to the party if MLA A. Revanth Reddy leaves it to join Congress.

Speaking to media persons here, Goud said TDP was a worker-based party and therefore, the exit of any leader would not have an impact on it. He said the very basis of TDP formation was its opposition to policies of Congress party.

Therefore, he said that the TDP would continue to oppose Congress at all levels. He said Revanth Reddy's exit from TDP would be no surprise. He said many senior leaders had quit the party to join Congress in the past. However, they regretted their decisions and returned to TDP fold later. He said if one leader leaves the party, many more would join it.
