Hyderabad, Oct 18 : A day after denying reports of him joining the Congress party, Telangana TDP Working President and MLA A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday gave clear indications of his exit from the TDP sooner or later.

Speaking to media persons at his residence today, Revanth Reddy not only defended his proximity with the Congress party, but also targeted the TDP leaders of Andhra Pradesh. He said all parties have lost their relevance in Telangana and the State is now divided into only two political groups.

While one group is led by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, the other one is a group of leaders who are opposing KCR Government's policies. He said all opposition parties have united contested Singareni union polls.

Revanth Reddy strongly condemned the TDP ministers of Andhra Pradesh and questioned their presence in Telangana. He alleged that KCR Government has given contracts worth Rs. 2,000 crore to AP's Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu's firm.

He said how could TDP leaders accord a grand welcome to KCR who had sent him to jail. He said when KCR visited Anantapur to attend the marriage of Paritala Ravindra's son Sriram, all TDP leaders gave him a rousing reception.

Compared to this, when TDP Chief and AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu visited Warangal to attend Seethaka's daughters marriage, no TRS leader or minister even greeted him.

Speaking about his recent visit to New Delhi, Revanth Reddy said there was no harm in meeting the leaders of Congress High Command. However, he clarified that he visited the national capital to meet some lawyers.

He said that the BJP has lost its relevance in Telangana and apparently for the same reason, Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreyya was removed from the Union Cabient in the recent reshuffle. Revanth Reddy said he proposes to undertake padayatra across Telangana State from December 9.
