Newborn baby abducted from Niloufer Hospital, found dead

A newlyborn baby boy who was abducted from Niloufer Hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday has been found dead and buried at Bandarupalli village in Nagarkurnool district.

The shocking facts have been revealed by the police who revealed that the kidnapper, K Manjula of that village was in search of mothers willing to sell their new-borns.

After meeting the baby’s mother Nirmala, grandmother Kalpana at Petlaburj maternity hospital, she hatched a plan to abduct the baby.

The newborn was brought to Niloufer Hospital by his grandmother for treatment after he fell ill. Manjula and her husband Kumar were on their way to the village in Nagarkurnool but the baby died on Sunday night itself.

The police informed that the couple have been married for three years but Manjula suffered two miscarriages. Having concealed the recent miscarriage to her husband, Manjula wanted to take a child from the hospital and claim it to be hers. The couple have been taken into police custody.
