Telangana TDP unit has urged party National president Chandrababu Naidu to take action against the working president Revanth Reddy who is allegedly planning to switch over to the Congress.
TDP Telangana president L Ramana has written a letter to Chandrababu asking him to expel Revanth Reddy from party and posts.
He said in a statement that the party would suffer if Revanth Reddy, who is moving closely with Congress leaders, continued as TTDP leader and working president.
With the Chief Minister currently on an official tour abroad, Revanth Reddy has been directed to refrain from taking up any programmes as the party's floor leader in the legislative assembly or as TDP Telangana working president.
