Ivanka Trump who is all set to visit Hyderabad for the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in November this year is being accorded additional security.

With Ivanka being a special assistant to US President Donald Trump and the First Daughter, the security has been upgraded. Security officials from the US secret service recently visited the city to overlook the security for her visit.

Ivanka would be entitled to as a 'Designated Foreign Visitor' but with her being an immediate family member of the US President, more security has been deployed for the GES at the venue to be held from November 28 to 30 at HICC in Hyderabad.

Telangana police have taken up the overall security responsibility and a committee headed by director general of police Anurag Sharma has been formed for the security of the summit.

Around 1,200 foreign delegates including 500 Americans are attending the summit, hence security personnel will be deployed to ensure their safety at several hotels. Additional forces are also expected to be put into action depending on the requirement.
