Kodanda seeks HC directive to police for unemployed youth meet

Telangana JAC Chairman Prof M Kodandaram has knocked on the doors of the High Court at Hyderabad seeking a direction to the police to accord permission to the organisation to hold a meeting of unemployed youth on October 31 in Hyderabad city. He filed a writ petition to this effect on Wednesday and it is likely to come up for hearing on Thursday.

Telangana JAC Chairman Prof M Kodandaram has knocked on the doors of the High Court at Hyderabad seeking a direction to the police to accord permission to the organisation to hold a meeting of unemployed youth on October 31 in Hyderabad city. He filed a writ petition to this effect on Wednesday and it is likely to come up for hearing on Thursday.

Prof Kodandaram submitted in his affidavit that the TJAC is willing to hold it either at Saroonagar stadium or at LB Nagar, basing on the permission of the police. He stated that even Nizam college grounds or NTR stadium near Indira Park are okay for them and added that the Nizam College has even conveyed its consent for allotting the ground to the T JAC on that day. T-JAC Co-Convenor V Chalma Reddy too filed a similar petition, seeking permission from the police.

In another related development Justice S V Bhatt of the Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday directed the police authorities to pass fresh orders on the application made for Amara Veerula Spoorthi Yatra to be undertaken by TJAC for Suryapet and Nalgonda meetings.
