Revanth turns cynosure of all eyes at CLP office
The Telangana Assembly secretariat on Thursday asked the TDP leader A Revanth Reddy to vacate the office allotted to him in his capacity of TDLP floor leader in the Assembly premises.
Hyderabad : The Telangana Assembly secretariat on Thursday asked the TDP leader A Revanth Reddy to vacate the office allotted to him in his capacity of TDLP floor leader in the Assembly premises.
Soon after receiving a communication from the TDP that Revanth was removed from the post of Legislative party (TDLP) floor leader by the Assembly Secretary, the officials locked up the office. The associate of Revanth Reddy came to the office and shifted the TDP leader’s personal computer and other documents.
Revanth also skipped the meeting conducted jointly by TDLP and BJLP to chalk out a strategy to raise farmers issues, unemployment and other anti-people policies adopted by the State government.
Later, speaking to the media, Revanth lashed out at the TDP Telangana State unit leaders. He said Telugu Desam would become extinct soon in the State as the party leaders failed to strengthen the party and expose the failures and misdeeds of KCR.
He wondered as to why the leaders of the two parties held a meeting in a five-star hotel to discuss the plight of the poor.
However, even before his joining the Congress, Revanth Reddy was accorded an unofficial warm welcome in the corridors of the Congress Legislative Party office in the Assembly premises.
Soon after his entry in the Assembly premises, Congress leaders including the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Mohammad Ali Shabbir, MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy and Sampath made a beeline to the leader and shared some lighter moments with him.
