SBI offers various facilities to cops
The State Bank of India (SBI) main branch organised the ‘Department Connect’ programme at the Police Commissionerate here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner of Police V Shiva Kumar said that the bank was providing several facilities including credit cards.

SBI Branch Manager Vamshi Mohan urged the police officials and staff to convert their salary accounts to salary packages so that they could avail the bank’s benefits. “Packages have been divided into silver, gold and platinum based on the designation.
The bank provides long term loans for purchases or constructions of houses at 8.35 per cent interest,” he added. Manager Krishna Reddy said account holders could access to personal loans, car loans, education loans and SBI life insurance policies.
He answered some of the questions raised by police officers. Additional Commissioner of Police Bapu Rao, Administrative Officer Eshwar, Special Branch Inspector Prasad, Crime Records Bureau Inspector Dayakar Reddy, Sub Inspectors of Police and others were present.
