UoH to begin certificate course in Infection Prevention Control
The School of Medical Sciences (SoMS) of University of Hyderabad (UoH) and Infection Control Academy of India (IFCAI) and the Common Wealth of learning would be offering a distance learning certificate of programme in infection prevention control (IPC) from May 2018.
Hyderabad: The School of Medical Sciences (SoMS) of University of Hyderabad (UoH) and Infection Control Academy of India (IFCAI) and the Common Wealth of learning would be offering a distance learning certificate of programme in infection prevention control (IPC) from May 2018.
This was disclosed on the first day of the two-day Vth National Hospital Infection Prevention and Control Certificate Course being organized by ICAI, Care Hospitals, Nampally and School of Medical Sciences and School of Life Sciences, UoH here on Friday.
Nearly, 700 delegates from all over the country and visitors from abroad included doctors, nurses, administrators, healthcare quality specialists, academia, and public health specialists and managers have attending the programme.
Addressing the inaugural functioning as the guest of honour, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Appa Rao Podile, commended the efforts of the organisers, for addressing a burning problem which is of national importance.
