Hyderabad: BJP State president Dr K Laxman said the party had drawn a three-month-long action plan to build people’s movement to mount pressure on the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) government in the State.
Addressing media here on Monday, he said the two-day executive committee meeting held in Mancherial had adopted two separate resolutions.
He said the meeting had deliberated on the Chief Minister’s dictatorial attitude, mounting debt in the last three years pushing the State economy into doldrums, institutionalisation of corruption, directionless education department and growing unemployment, dependence on the revenues encouraging and promoting liquor, irresponsibility and not delivering on the electoral promises, misuse of administrative machinery and religious politics.
The party had appointed a six-member committee to study and to prepare an action plan to build an anti-corruption movement against the ruling party, he said.
Similarly, a nine-member committee on the issues relating to SC and STs, a four-member committee on the prohibition of liquor, a seven-member committee on appeasement policies towards Muslims and anti-Hindu policies of the government was also set up.
