Bus crashes into auto rickshaw, five persons killed

In a ghastly road accident, five persons died and four others sustained grievous injuries in Yadagirigutta mandal on Monday.

The mishap occurred when a Telangana state road transport corporation (TSRTC) bus, on its way from Hyderabad to Warangal, collided with an autorickshaw at Bhavupet.

The injured were rushed to the nearby Aler government hospital.

The auto rickshaw that was heading towards Bhongir from Warangal, was carrying nine passengers.

Four of them along with the auto driver was killed on the spot while four others suffered injuries. Transport Minister Mahender Reddy has ordered a probe into the incident and added that action would be taken against the bus driver if he was found driving rashly.
