An Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Safeer Karim who was aspiring to enter the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), was arrested by Intelligence officials at Egmore Girls High School in Chennai he was caught red-handed indulging in hi-tech copying in UPSC mains exam.

An Indian Police Service (IPS) officer, Safeer Karim who was aspiring to enter the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), was arrested by Intelligence officials at Egmore Girls High School in Chennai he was caught red-handed indulging in hi-tech copying in UPSC mains exam.

Karim had cleared the preliminary exam and was writing the civil services main exam with Bluetooth equipment and camera fitted glasses. On Monday, he scanned the exam question paper and sent to his wife Joyce and La Excellence IAS Coaching Center owner Rambabu in Hyderabad.

Karim, who is currently working as an Assistant Superintendent of Police in Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu, was caught talking to his wife who was sending him the answers from Hyderabad.

The Hyderabad police have taken IPS officer’s wife and Rambabu into custody based on Tamil Nadu police complaint.
